The city of superlatives is not only impressive when it comes to the choice of the right hotel.
Las Vegas also has four of the five largest hotels in the world. So if you want to spend a luxurious night in the sinful metropolis of Nevada, you should be a guest in one of these hotels:

Venetian Resort Hotel
The 5 star Venetian Resort Hotel was the largest hotel in the world with its 7,128 rooms until 2015. It has been replaced and is now in second place.
Nevertheless, the Venetian with its recreated Venice including canals, gondolas and Venetian-decorated palaces is a special kind of luxury accommodation: With an exquisite spa including 90 treatment rooms, pools only for adults and families, an indoor climbing wall, a variety of first-class restaurants and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, everyone gets their money's worth here.

MGM Grand
With its 6,852 rooms, the MGM Grand is the third largest hotel in the world. The LasVegasPilot recommends the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino to all those who value a beautiful pool area when staying in the hot desert city of Nevada.
Children will also get their money's worth in the complex consisting of five pools and the river pool with waterfalls.
Is a nice pool important to you? Then check out further information about the hotels with pools in our hotel filter.
Do you feel like more extravagance? The Skylofts at MGM Grand is the luxury section of this hotel and offers you one of the most exclusive accommodations in Las Vegas.

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
In fourth place on the list of the largest hotels in the world is the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino with its 4,766 rooms.
The splendid golden facade glazing is characteristic on the Las Vegas Boulevard. The Mandalay Bay is also the perfect accommodation for all pool fans and little water rats.
Its pool area with a sandy beach and wave pool has been voted the best pool complex in Las Vegas several times. A reason for us to book this hotel on a Las Vegas trip!

Wynn and Encore
With 4,750 rooms, the Wynn is the 5th largest hotel in the world. The luxury hotel opened in 2005 and is, like many hotels, located on the Strip in Las Vegas.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOTELS ON THE STRIP

Want to see most of Vegas on foot?
Then a hotel in a central location is your ideal starting point. The best location in Las Vegas means a hotel in the center of the Strip, the street where all the major attractions bustle.
The full Las Vegas experience awaits you here, according to the motto “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”: lightning weddings, wild rides, casinos, the best restaurants, wellness offers and spas are just a few of the multitude of entertainment options.

Bellagio
The most famous hotel on the Las Vegas Boulevard is the 5-star hotel Bellagio. Here you can enjoy extra class luxury in front of the legendary Fontains of Bellagio Show. The water show is the hallmark of the Bellagio and one of the most famous attractions in Las Vegas.
The hotel right in the centre of the Las Vegas Strip also offers you a large casino, a variety of treatments in the wellness area and the Cirque du Soleil show "O".

Caesars Palace
Right next to the Bellagio is the impressive Caesars Palace. This ancient Roman-style hotel is perfect for avid gamblers. Between marble columns and statues of ancient Rome you will find two huge casinos where you can try your luck.

Las Vegas Strip

GREAT OFF-STRIP HOTELS

Not all of the glitter and glamour is on the Strip in Las Vegas.
As your ultimate Las Vegas guide, we have the perfect hotel tips for you, even a little away from the hustle and bustle.
Las Vegas Boulevard is considered to be the center for gambling, but the surrounding districts are also worth seeing and have a lot to offer. In addition, it has its advantages not to stay in the middle of the craziest mile in the USA:
The room prices are a bit cheaper outside of the city
You can get a taste of the "local life"
You avoid the huge crowds of tourists whenever you want

Especially cool: Many hotels offer a free shuttle service to the Strip and back again. Off-strip hotels include the Golden Nugget Hotel, Palms Casino Resort, Tuscany Suites, M Resort Spa & Casino, and Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa.

The Golden Nugget Hotel is located in Downtown Las Vegas, at the Fremont Street. It is the first casino hotel in Las Vegas and it is also pet-friendly: dogs are allowed in this property.
For one night you pay a fee of approx. 50 $ per pet and a deposit of 90 $, which you get back at the end. The Golden Nugget Hotel also offers a free cancellation option for selected room rates. Ideal for everyone who is undecided!

The Palms Casino Resort is located on Flamingo Road (west of Caesars Palace), just a few miles by car from the famous Las Vegas Boulevard. We at LasVegasPilot love this hotel for its delicious and unusual drinks at the hotel bar: Try the Bubbly Black Rose, which is mixed with Plymouth gin, lemon juice and blackberry syrup. You can also experience the fascination of the “Pearl’s”, a concert hall with 2500 seats and, if you ask us, one of the best showrooms in all of Las Vegas.
Little fun fact: The movie "The Real World: Las Vegas" was shot in this hotel in early 2000!

The Tuscany Suites & Casino is just three blocks from the Strip and 7 miles from McCarran International Airport, in the middle of a large park. This 3-star accommodation is the right place for you if you are looking for the perfect mix of peace and comfort not far from the Strip.
This is about a 15-minute walk away. In the air-conditioned suites you will not only find a coffee machine with free coffee, but also a refrigerator and a bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower.
Those who like it a little more luxurious should check out the M Resort Spa & Casino in Henderson. With 4.5 stars, you can not only enjoy the scent of fresh flowers and very comfortable rooms, but you can also taste a few delicious drops of wine in the in-house wine cellar "Hostile Grape". By the way, The M Resort has an excellent buffet!

The Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa is also in Henderson on the outskirts of Green Valley, about 10-15 minutes' drive from the Strip. Although the hotel is close to the Las Vegas Strip, depending on the traffic situation, we feel as if we are miles away in a small oasis.
The 5-star accommodation in mediterranean style with its sandy beach and turquoise-blue pool water is reminiscent of a vacation trip to the Mediterranean Sea. And if you are looking for even more relaxation, you can indulge yourself in the top-class spa.

CHEAP HOTELS IN LAS VEGAS

Wondering how to get the lowest price for an overnight stay in Las Vegas?
Our LasVegasPilot insider tip: If you are flexible in your travel dates, you have the best chances!
Because the rooms are generally more expensive on the weekends than on weekdays. That's because weekend trips to Sin City are very popular with Americans. Of course, room prices can also vary from monday to friday. Book your hotel well in advance. So you can get a top hotel in a great location at a very affordable price.
While the cheap category in other big U.S. cities only starts at 100-150 $ a night, you can find a good double room in a central location for 50-75 $ in Las Vegas . This is due on the one hand to the oversupply of hotels and on the other hand to the fact that the accommodations generate a large part of their turnover not with overnight stays, but with sales in the shops and casino games.

Cheap Hotels in Las Vegas

SECRET TIPS FOR YOUR HOTEL BUDGET

Very central and cheap is the Flamingo Hotel and Casino. Here you have the perfect view of the highlights of the city.
Please do not be fooled by the external impression of the building. The Flamingo seems a bit old, but the rooms have been renovated and meet the most modern standarts. The Flamingo is our insider tip for decent accommodation for less than € 100 a night. For this price range you can hardly get better hotels in Vegas.
Another LasVegasPilot tip in this price range, is definitely The LinQ. Formerly known as the Imperial Palace, this hotel has been completely renovated, has high standarts and is affordable. The perfect place you are looking for a room for around $ 100 per night including the resort fee, which is located in the middle of the strip.
The rooms are a bit smaller than in the other hotels in this price range, but they convinced us. Clear recommendation for your lower hotel budget!
Low prices and an impressive construction: the Luxor bears the name of the city of pyramids on the banks of the Nile for a reason. You will be greeted by a sphinx at the entrance of the hotel and The Luxor is at the southern end of the strip, but it is still reasonably easy to reach from the center and impresses with room prices from $ 50 per night.
In our opinion, you cannot expect world-class service in this price range. But if you are traveling on a small budget or are young and want to party, you will get a lot for your money here. Otherwise, accommodation from Airbnb or a cheap motel is always an inexpensive alternative to a hotel room.
